My name is Jordan Novak, I am a native local to Savannah, and currently one of the estheticians here at The Studio Medical Spa. Like many in my field, my journey with skin health started from a struggle to heal my own skin. Struggling with severe cystic acne, clogged pores, PIH, sensitivity - you name it, I was fighting it. I was always so insecure and so full of stress, constantly trying to find a way to tame my skin. With that being said, I have always had a huge interest in skincare and make up. Back in 2019, I decided to take a risk and join Advanced Aesthetics Academy. I then graduated and became a part of The Studio Medical Spa, alongside Ga Skin and Cancer Clinic with Dr. Sidney Smith. I got to the point in my own journey, going through school, where I was able to really hone in, and heal everything that had been dealing with skin-wise! I love that I am now able to pass along the same knowledge and care that has changed my life, on to my clients everyday. 

 

 We offer so much at The Studio, from facials to microneedling, laser hair removal, chemical peels, waxing, and so much more. You’ll have to come in to see us to find out! Microblading is definitely one of my favorite services to offer though. I am definitely a right- brained girly. I am on the more creative side, and I love that this field allows me to express myself freely through that creative outlet and help others at the same time. It’s such a fun way for me to really shape someone’s face into my own little masterpiece. Your eyebrows really do shape your face, and it is one of the first things that people see when they look at you. 

 

 We are constantly learning. It is crucial for us to always be evolving and open to new information. One thing I have been into lately is endocrinology and nutrition, as these both play a huge role in the overall health of our skin. We definitely believe in quality over quantity. Skincare tends to get over complicated by marketing and misinformation. We value transparency and results at The Studio. We also enjoy having an ongoing relationship with our clients. It has been a dream come true to be able to work in a field where I get to help each of my clients not only look, but feel beautiful in their own skin. Having personally struggled with my own skin, to be able to help someone just truly enjoy looking at themselves in the mirror every morning is such a blessing. I know how life- changing that moment was for me, and I love being able to give my clients that same feeling. We not only do our very best to bond with each person that comes through our door, some of them end up being like family to us.
